Calculator input
Our calculator code uses your age, formula category, height, weight, unit choice, activity assumption and results only in temporary browser memory. It does not send them in requests, add them to the URL, save them in cookies or browser storage, or include them in application logs, analytics, feedback context or advertising targeting.
Reset clears the calculator's active state. Browser features such as autofill, history restoration and the back/forward cache may behave independently; Reset is not a guarantee that your browser has erased every trace. We do not maintain a server database of calculations or a server copy to retrieve.
Optional feedback
Give feedback opens a Tally form only when you choose it. We send fixed site, page, component, language, release and environment identifiers. We do not attach calculator input, results or the page query string. Email and category are optional; please leave out health information, body measurements and other sensitive details.
We use your message to understand and fix product problems, based on our legitimate interest in improving the site. An optional email is used only to follow up about that message, not for marketing.
Tally receives the message and ordinary connection information, including your IP address; see Tally's privacy policy. We remove optional contact details and minimise personal information before sending feedback to OpenAI's Codex for AI-assisted analysis. This uses external services, rather than processing entirely on your device. International processing and provider recovery periods may apply; see OpenAI's privacy policy.
Access is limited to the operator and authorised processing. We review raw feedback for deletion after 90 days; provider backups and recovery periods may also apply. Minimised improvement themes are retained only while needed. A person decides what to change. AI analysis does not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
Hosting and search information
Cloudflare delivers the site and receives ordinary connection and request information, such as IP address, requested public page, browser information and request time. Calculator values are not part of our hosting requests. We use hosting information to deliver and secure the site, based on our legitimate interest in reliable operation.
Cloudflare also handles service and security information under its privacy policy. Processing may occur outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Its Data Processing Addendum describes processor obligations and international transfer safeguards. We have not established a single retention period for every copy of its connection and security information.
There is no visitor analytics, session replay or calculation-completion tracking. Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools can provide search impressions and clicks; they do not add a visitor analytics script or receive calculator input from our code.
Advertising and Google code
Advertising is disabled in this build. It loads no Google advertising or advertising-consent scripts and sets no site cookies. Optional Tally feedback has the separate processing described above.
This site is prepared for a later Google AdSense placement after the calculator. Before activation, site approval and the required regional consent, refusal and withdrawal behaviour must be checked. The privacy information and available choices must reflect the active configuration.
When Google code is enabled on the calculator page, it can technically access the page's fields and keyboard interaction. Our code's temporary, local handling of input cannot prevent access by scripts running on that same page. We do not supply body characteristics for targeting. A network check can describe observed requests at that time; it cannot guarantee that external code will never read or transmit a value.
Contact and privacy requests
Use the verified contact route on About & contact, when available, for site questions or privacy requests. If you email us, we use your sender details and message to respond, investigate a correction or meet a legal obligation. Email providers process the message to deliver and store it. Please do not include health information or body measurements.
We keep correspondence only while needed for the enquiry, resulting correction or legal obligation, then remove it when no longer needed. Provider retention and recovery copies may also apply.
Where the GDPR applies, you may ask for access, correction, erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where its conditions are met. Rights have legal limits. Applicable requests are normally answered within one month; we explain a permitted extension within that month and may need information to verify identity. You may complain to your competent data protection authority, including the Dutch Data Protection Authority, without contacting us first. See the GDPR.
